why is anthem so bloody hard to sing?any advice on singing this amazing song, especially the last bit, i can hit all the notes but its bloody hard 2 do and towards the end i end up shouting a bit. (for i am a baritone )
any help greatly appreciated.

It's not hard to sing. Those notes are G's, so sorry can't really help. Except if you have to belt it, try raising your lips above the line of your gums, that can help bring the sound away from harming your voice.

got it... its more the words than anything else, its so hard 2 stay consistently that high, even though my range goes a few note higher

just 2 let y'all know, i have perfected it now, thank u all. the notes were giving me grief because i was not hitting the notes dead on, as soon as i started doing so the problem was gone,

The end is a bunch of F's and then a G, but I am always too exhausted after the F's to even get to the G.

yeah, when I got to the G when I sang it, it always came out a little raspy, but I don't think I'm good singing high notes on an A vowel. In Anthem, the "Where will I start!" is pretty easy. I can easily do the Colm Wilkinson version/Florence version where they go to a B at the end. (or is that Bflat?)
