Mark is my favorite because I love the characterization. He is so real in his being scared of life and of his friends death and such. And he sings "La Vie Boheme" and "Tango:Maureen" two of my favorite songs.

Um....

I like the character of Roger because the whole character is so appealing. Adam Pascal helps, I admit. However, even when my friends sing his part he just is such a badboy, the kind of boy that would never go out with me, that I find him very appealing. "One Song Glory" is a great, great song. I also think Roger is the most intelligent (how he lets Mimi go) and the truest artist.

I also love the character of Mark. He really is the narrator so automatically you feel for him. He and Roger are the most developed characters, as seen in Goodbye Love.

Then there's Collins. I love his spirit. He's such a rebel, and he and Angel make such an unlikely yet loving couple.

Absolutely angel. She is wonderful, caring, funny, compassionate, and a great dancer. Collins is my second favorite...but Angel is definitely the best in my book.
It sounds a stupid thing to say of a Heroin addict, but Mimi is just too self-centered for me. "It's out again. Sorry 'bout your friend." I mean come on...poor Roger.
And Angel just gives her money to people she loves. He funeral ALWAYS makes me cry though! She also hassome of the best songs and amzing drumming and dancing in "Today 4 U." I have her EXACT nail polish.

my favorite characters are mimi and angel. i love mimis songs and verses and i canrelate to her the most of all the characters. and i love angel because she always has a positiveoutlok on life and never loses hope even when things are bad.

and this is not the reason i love mimi but i love rosario and ppl can say she was the worse mimi they ever say but shes pretty much the ony reason i watched rent in the first place bc i am a big fan of hers. without her i probably would have never seen rent in the first place.

I love Angel! I totaly knew that he was going to die and I still cried so hard that I couldn't hear most of the scene! I was sobbing I'm sure the people around me were getting mad at me for it but... wow! It is writen so well and the actors were absolutely amazing when I went to see it!
