Oh my goodness! I didn't see it on Broadway, but saw the original cast at La Jolla Playhouse and it was wonderful. The show itself is ok, not really my entire cup of tea, but the cast and production were EXCELLENT -- and many of that original cast are now the people on Broadway.

I saw it in previews in October and the entire audience gave a standing ovation, which I didn't expect.

^Same. I didn't know what to expect exactly, I was unsure if it would be a failure like some other shows about bands. But I was wrong. It was incredible.

I saw it during previews as well, and Frankie Valli sat 2 rows behind me. He lept to his feet after Young's version of "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You". It was such an incredible thing to experience, because onstage Young couldn't help but nod his head and smile in acceptance...

I just saw it!I waited for three hours for student rush tickets, which then turned out to also be totally blocked by the staircase on the set. . . and going into things, I wasn't expecting much, not believing all the hype. After about 20 minutes into the show, I was like, "Okay, the acting is good, this is interesting, but I don't see what the big deal is." 2 minutes after that, it started rolling out like a steam train that pushed me to my feet at the end of that show. I was amazed at how the audience was responding. They kept cheering and cheering and cheering, that finally the musical director had to just start the music over the cheering so that the show would go on. I was delighted and shocked at the smile plastered on my face through out the show. Not only was the music great, but the acting was immaculate. They deserved every single Tony they got.Love the Jersey boys! |

I saw it also. It was good but it unfortunately shows what our broadway society is coming to:
More of these shows are coming out. These shows don't require any real musical talent required to write it because all you have to do is write a script and the music and story is already there. |

| What Is This Feeling? |
No, I have yet to see it. I am like dying to see it though. The music, even though it is from the past, and many believe it is recycled, it isn't. It has such a fresh feel to it. I like worship Bob Gaudio, for this music. It rocks! I do hope to see the show for my 15th birthday this year. *Crosees fingers* |

Loved it!I saw Jersey Boys as well, in San Francisco, and it was amazing! The previous shows that i had seen (nix Wicked) weren't that good, and I was expecting another not so good show, but Jersey Boys proved me wrong. I loved every moment of it, and when I bought the soundtrack, I listened to it four times in a row. The music is very catchy in a good way and the acting was superb. What I was sad about was that there weren't many female roles in the show, predominately male roles. But overall, amazing show, and I give it a 10 out of 10.
