Okey so I have been browsing around and some great costumes, wigs and make up and I know that actors mostly aply theyre make up themselves but who decides what the make up should be like? (I guess its the costumer that decides how the wigs will look like.) And if you dont have a fancy costumer section or a big make up department at youre local theathre who does that parts then? I mean its important to have a common look so you dont have 30 cats looking totaly different... J

I think they're probably given training and/or patterns to follow. On both occasions that I did Cats we had a few people painting, including me before I did my own.
