white guys?umm..well there's a young boy between 10-14 who is the Anna (the main female's) son.. and there are some British generals who are traditionally older. makeup can do a lot though..I know a lot of Caucaisians who have played Asian roles in The King and I and Flower Drum Song , another predominitaly Asian show that I was in myself, as a Caucaisian. It really depends if this is a professional show or at a community theater. You should probably get the OBC or watch the movie to get a feel for the show though! hope that helped.

I was in The King and I last year. I agree with the makeup comment. I asked people in the audience what they thought of our apperiance and they all said that we looked very Asian.
