Which would make a better musical? The novel Bedknobs and Broomsticks or Charlie and the Chocolate Factor? I know both have been done on film but to my knowledge no major stage adaptations exist of these works. Which would work best as stage piece?

I see, I wasnt aware of Willy Wonk on stage. Is that one thats more done over in the US? I'm from the UK and I've never seen it done. What about Bedknobs and Broomsticks?
