Which cat stands out the most to you? In a line up of all cats, which cat struck your eye the most?

Personally, I was most intrigued by Electra, Demeter, and Jellyrolum. For some reason, they had such character that I couldn't take my eyes off of them!

Munkustrap, because his make-up is the most elaborate in transforming the actor into a feline.

Cassandra.... completely. From the very first time I saw the show. She was just so different and exotic compared to all the other cats. Plus she was the tallest female; something I could identify with!

Victoria naturally. She's often centered on stage and seems to attract the male audience's attention (which applies to me).

I personally have always been drawn to Tantomile and Coricopat, simply because of the intricate patterns on their costumes and the fact that they were the same where everyone else was completely different. And my eye has always strayed to Cassandra because she is so unique, unlike everyone else she is sleek and to my eye she was always just a striking figure..and as Cassandra said she is almost always quite tall.

Honestly...Sillabub. Because the actress is playing the youngest cat the tribe, it's always funny to watch her pester the older cats...like messing with their tails, and swatting at them. And I just love her colors!

Cassandra because of the aloof look and carriage, which reminds me of a dark lady in hard-boiled novels and spy-stories. Also, I was exactly in front of her the first time I saw cats (first row) and she didn't stop staring at me straight in my eyes, making me want to run away in fear. She looked threatening. You know when you look at a tiger in a cage? You know she can't harm you because of the cage but... she's a tiger anyway, see?

Oh, and Munkustrap as well, especially when played by Jack Rebaldi.

Costume wise it was Misto and obviously Munkustrap because of the bold stripes!

I think Bombalurina catches my eye first - the bright red and strong contrast of her costume really stands out!

personality wise: Rumpleteazer and Mungojerrie

Mungo and Rumple....oh they are just too fun! Cassandra is awesome as well. Her costume stands out the most, I agree.

I have to say i am very much a Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer fan. cant keep my eyes off them in the video- and they are very funny in the background a lot of the time. But then again, we all say that about our fav characters.
Watch Tugger and Mungo in the middle of the Mistoffelees song- where Cassandra dissapears 'under' the red cover/sheet. Tugger, after looking very dejected at not being chosen for the magic trick, strolls over to Mungo and Rumpel, and raises his arm/paw to Mungo, who nods and does the same, before Tugger strolls back towards Misto. Just something i find amusing. I've got a whole load of interesting background things I've noticed (and I mean a lot), not just Mungo and Rumpel related, if anyone wants me to post some things ive seen about their fav character. I was thinking about making a site with all of these things on, but with exams I havent done anything about it. I dont even have a page on the net to place it... Any help on that front would be appreciated. Sorry about going off topic.

For the video, I think Demeter drew my eye first because of her twitchyness. The first time I saw it live, it was probably Jellylorum simply because she was yellow.

The cats who caught my eyes after seeing the show for the first time (it was the video), were Jemima, Munkustrap, Victoria and Mungo & Rumple. And since then, Jemima has stayed my favorite character.

In order of appearance -
Demeter - Her nervousness reminded me of one of my own cats, and I love her collar.
Bombalurina - She's red, slinky and sexy. 'nuff said.
Munkustrap - Silver tabbies have alway been my favourites with it comes to coat type.
The Rum Tum Tugger - What can I say? I think it was his sheer tomcat-ishness that always makes me grin when he's around. Tugger + Bomba = ME-OW!!
Macavity - I always like the bad guy, and his song is my favourite of all.

When I went to see it live the first time, it was the first time I'd ever seen it so it was just a big jumble in my head.

The second time live, I was watching Demeter the entire time. I'm in love with that costume (the one Emily Padgett wore- she was who I saw.)

Since the part of Cats I saw first was Macavity, I have to say Bombalurina caught my eye . But otherwise...I always like to watch that Tugger is about to. The only time I saw it live though, Demeter was the one I remembered. And of course Misto, since I had never seen the Conjuring Turn before.

I think Alonzo catches the eye because of his bold black and white coloring. Also, he stand out as a character because of his memorable lines ("Are you cock of the walk?") Also, I think the first time I watched the video I was struck most by Coricopat and Tantomile.

The dances had me gawking at the screen.

But Tugger also had me rolling on the floor, especially during his entrances and song, and also during Peakes and the Pollicles. Watch his very last expression at the end of his second "bagpipe solo" near the end of it, where he's like, "No-one's paying attention to me? What?!?"

I also loved Munkustrap, becuase he was very majestic (I thought.)

Alright, now I can: Jemima, Rumpelteaser...pretty much a lot of them, if not all of them because I remember mimicking every single one of them when I memorized the songs.

I remember when I first saw Cats, the thing that really struck me was the kitten with the angelic voice and those huge eyes. It took me months to get used to those huge eyes. The character of course, was Jemima. She stood out to me most of all, with Quaxo's adorable expressions as second. So in a line up, Jem stands out most with Quaxo as second.

As for who I feel represents me most, that's Electra for certain. Enough of characters with special traits and features, how about one that represents the majority of society? That's why Electra represents me the most, because I'm just a plain girl. Woot.

Probally the cats that i noticed first were Mungo and Rumple and they instantly became my favorites.

But I also notice Etctera a lot she's so cute with all of her playful kitten-ness

Demeter is great and Bombalurina has always caught my eye..I love the character and she remeided me of my own cat outfit wise..(my cat was the same color.) I also always notice The Tugger, Munkustrap, and Misto. and I totally feel for Griz (especially since a few months ago my cat was put to sleep after being in a very fragile condition and she remeinded me of old Girz..WOW I miss her soo much!) anyway I love them all..but these are probably the most prominent in my mind.

Victoria has always stuck out for me.

She's the only basic colored cat, and among all of the colorful cats, she's just plain white, and that makes her stand out.

Plus, she has this innocence. She doesn't have a song solo for herself, and she doesn't really talk, which makes her intruiging and mysterious.

But she obviously gets the male cats's attention.

And the way she handles that leg lift... Wow.

And she's just all around cute and fuzzy and innocent. I want to cuddle her. Heh.

Jellylorum for me- but just in the video. There was something about the way they did her make up that really stuck out. The one I saw live wasn't very good, and I don't even remember seeing her all that much.

Personality wise, always Rumpelteazer. She makes such cute faces through the whole thing... =)

I've only ever seen CATS on DVD but Etcetera has always stuck out for me - cute, energetic and has the most feline characteristics. Then Rumpleteazer - love her cheeky nature and her voice!

Going to see it in December though, so maybe I'll change my mind...

For me, Victoria always stands out the most. I always look for her first in cast photos, it's mostly her colouring though, she's the most easily recognisable IMO! But other than that...Tugger <3

Munkustrap and Victoria stood out right away because of their solos and all. But the first ones that REALLY stood out to me were Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer, firstly because of their accents, and secondly because of their personalities and because I liked their dance styles.

Actually, I think Bombalurina also stuck out for me, a lot. Victoria stuck out because she's obviously the most recognizable cat. And because of her little dance number.

But Bom has a fiesty attutude that makes her stand out.
