Which CAT is your kitty most like?I was thinking about this the other day, and I decided that my kitten is a total little Tugger. He wants the opposite of whatever he's got...as soon as he's on one side of the door, he wants back in!
Anyway, I just wanted to see what CAT your own kitty-cat most resembles...!

Well...my two change constantly, they can sometimes be like Tugger, demanding to be let in seconds after they've gone out.
I can see Paddymog (Yes my cats have odd names) as a gumbie cat type, she loves cuddles, and can be very nannyish (she wakes me up in the mornings by jumping on my bed. She can somehow tell wether it's a weekday or a weekend)
Her daughter, Tiddles, is a Cassandra in personality, but a brown tabby in appearance. She is quite haughty and proud, but when she drops the act she loves a cuddle just as much as her mum.

Hmmmm . . . I have 5 cats so this is a bit tough.
Ghost Kitty (blue british shorthair) is probably the most like either Pouncival or Mungojerrie. He likes picking on the other cats and pouncing on them, he's very goofy, and gets into trouble (seems proud of himself when he does it, too).
Emily (torti point ragdoll) is probably closest to a cross between Jennyanydots (as Gumbie Cat) and Grizabella. She's a bit anti-social so she's sort of an outcast (but she likes it that way - as long as the others don't bother her, she's happy). She's also very lazy and spends most of her time lounging around (we always joke that she's more like a rug than a cat).
Romeo (blue/white turkish van) is probably closest to a Rumpleteazer. He's goofy, cute, and lovable and gets into trouble but he's more of a follower (I imagine Mungojerrie as the instigator/leader of the duo).
Tennessee (orange/brown torby mainecoon mix) unfortunatly has lung cancer and isn't doing too good but before she got sick, she was a definite Mungojerrie (except instead of proudly taking the blame, she'd try to look innocent so Romeo would get all the blame). She also had a bit of Tumblebrutus in her. She loved to leap & jump for toys. She could jump over 4' up from a sitting position. Now that she's sick, she's more of a Gus. Wishing she could play like she used to, but sad because she can't.
I'm not too sure about Toonces (brown spotted tabby pixie bob mix). She's really super skittish so maybe Demeter. But she's also really shy (hardly saw her for the first week we had her) so I can't think of which cat that would be.
EDIT to add pics.

Tarsaus is like what Mistoffelees would be if ever he decided to be evil. Aloof, hardly ever seen, with the ability to fool you into thinking that he's still under the couch while secretly having wandered off into the kitchen. He's completely black (with the exception of two interestingly placed spots of white), and will also happily attack your ankles at random intervals.
With all cats, he is also a master of the "I'm very pissed off" look. ^_^

JamieWe only have the one right now - Jamie. James is "Munkustrap" with WHITE paws. However, he has "Victor" personalities. When I saw Jamie for the first time, he had to be about 6-8 weeks old and a stumbling little kitten no bigger than my hand. He stumbled over my foot, and I picked him up... Wrong thing to do if you do NOT want a particular kitten... We bonded, and I loved him at first sight.
Here is Jamie today (Sorry about not getting the black tail tip... it flops a lot - very un-cat...)

I *had* a cat named Mr. Mistoffelees. I called him "Miffy" for short, and he was quiet, small, black, and sneaky. I think he was a purebred Bombay, but since I got him at the pound, there was no way to tell. Unfortunately I lost him a couple years ago due to cancer, but the vet estimated his age at about 16. As he was an adult when I got him, there's no way his exact age could be determined. But, we still had nearly six good years together.
RIP little buddy...

Omg, I don't have a cat but I have a ferret! Does he count? Well, he's like a cat. He's mostly like Mungojerrie. Just how he steals things and has his secret stash.
Mumsy, Purdy is a beast. o.O rawr.
For a laugh here's a friend's cat.

Hmmm....
On looks; David is plain black, from head to tail, so in that respect I would have to say Exotica George is a huge grey explosion of fur, so... Old Deuteronomy, haha! And Reg is white with coffee colored spots and stripes, so... um... Pouncival? Or maybe a weird Victoria!
On Character; David is very odd! She seems really cruel and quite shy; she will hiss at other cats (other than our others), and she is very wary of strangers... but she is really sweet and lovely, she used to sleep on my bed every night before I moved out! She is also the (somewhat through having to!) leader of our Cats, since Stuart and Parsley died. So... a cross between Quaxo and Munkustrap, haha! George is grumpy, simple as! He is so moody and morngy is makes me laugh! He is more like Eeyore than any Jellicle! He is also quite scratchy, and will attack anything if he is in a mood! So... haha, I don't know that there is a comparison for him! And Reginald is the shyest cat ever. I am the only person her comes to willingly, and even then he is incredibly shy. I would say he is most like Coricopat; he has a stronger sixth sense than the others, no question; he sees things no-one else does etc. Like, he used to sit in my room staring at the wall, occassionally watching some invisible movements of the thing he was watching.
BUT! I did not own the cat in question, but I am good friends with the owners. I know Macavity! He is a cat named Claude (full name; Claries Christmas Claude), and he is EVIL! He comes across as being really nice, smart and respectable. But the number of times I have seen him attack other cats for no apparent reaon is uncountable! Oh, he is black, not ginger... so he can be called Macavotica

Since everyone else was posting pics, I needed to add one too.
This is Phantom...like I said, he's a definite little Tugger. When I got home today, he ran upstairs, and as soon as I got upstairs, he went back down.

Mumsy being MY mumsy, these are also my cats...

This is Woo. Now at least 20 (he was a young adult when he adopted us), and very much our Old Deuteronomy.
Kitty-cat. Could any cat BE more Griddlebone?
Purdy. Not sure who she resembles in the cast, as she's young, but terribly neurotic...
Boushcat. Beautiful and brainless, purebred Birman.
Bustopher Jones tendencies, perhaps? |
Boush as Bustopher? Nah! He doesn't register as Cat - Boush is too stupid! But he's so pretty... He's my next Jellicle costume project. He's more Gilbert/Genghis than anything, being an Oriental breed? His full name is Solomon, far too dignified and regal for a stupid fluffy thing!
Kitty Cat is absolute Griddlebone. She demands affection and attention, and is very cute and loving, but also gets moody really quickly. Kitty is her first name, her second, real name is Eidelweiss. You give a kitten to a three year old and expect him to pronounce Eidelweiss? So she's always been Kitty!
Purdy is Demeter - paranoid, skittish, beautiful but she has her problems! At this moment she's trying to get through the hatch into the storage space of the loft, which is blocked off with an old mirror. It's most confusing. Purdy is poised, dignified, calm, until something startles her, and that could be anything!
Mr. Woo Cat is very much a Jellicle Cat- in his youth he was feral, a wild pirate cat, who'd plunder and pillage the houses for food. That's how we got him, we caught him and took him to the vet- his full name is Wuzatom. No longer a Tom! In his middle age, once he settled with us, he grew enormously fat - the full 25lb of solid cat! Now he's ancient, senile, deaf, but a generally happy soul, shouting at the chairs when they won't have a conversation with him... he's very much Gus.
I just find it amusing he's so clearly travelled through three separate characters, all portrayed onstage by the same actor!

I shall find a suitable picture of Misty at some stage but she is a British Blue breed which are basically all grey with bright gold eyes! So visually she doesn't look like any of them but personality wise she is a mix of Griddlebone and Tugger; sarcastic, amusing, and a hell of a diva!

Well, I actually think of my Cats as kittens of Cats characters, lol. Because two of them especially have tendencies of appearances of two characters. I, unfortunatly, lost the pictures of my kitties when my computer crashed, so you'll have to do without.
Eloise would be the daughter of Bill Bailey and Electra. Ellie is totally a Gumbie Cat in the making, all day she sits and sits and sits but I hear her bustling about at night. She's even got Electra's colors, however she has some very Bill Bailey-like patches.
Sofie would be the daughter of Mistoffelees and Rumpleteazer. She's got Misto's white tux, and paws and tail-tip, but in a Rumpleteazer-ish orange color, with stripes. Her personality is definatly Rumpleteazer. There's one particular vase right outside my room that she's very fond of tipping over, and she's constantly stealing all of my necklaces and braclets. And, true to Teazer, whenever something goes wrong, my family blames her. Because it is always her. However, she might have some of Misto's magic. We had to put her in a huge dog crate one time for a few days (long story) and she kept escaping! We have no idea how she did it, because we always made sure to lock the cage, and the gaps in the cage were like an inch by an inch, but she kept escaping. And she can open doors. Creepy really.
And Boo... he's a Rum Tum Tugger/Cassandra mix. He's an all black cat, however he's sleek like an exotic breed. He's got Cassandra's 'better-than-you' attitude, but he's also got Tugger's show-off-ness, charm, and goofiness. And he's a total queen-magnet. Every queen on the block can be seen waiting outside for Boo to come out at sometime or another. And Boo, like Tugger, is forever on the wrong side of every door, loves to sleep in my drawer, doesn't want the food you give him and loves to cause a muddel. He'll give a screeching meow at random times just to liven things up a bit.
So, yeah, those are my cats. Thanks for asking about them, as you can tell, I love to talk about them.

Morgana is my very personal guardian angel. She is the sweetest creature I have ever met on this planet, and always amazes me with the love she shows to me and my husband. If I had to compare her to a Cats character, I'd think of Jemima.
Artemide is a walking disaster... often hyper, always hungry, she jumpes where she shouldn't go, goes where she souldn't be, touches what she shouldn't even look at. From this point of view, although she is 5 or 6 years old, she behaves like a kitten. But, considering her look and her weight, I see her more as a female Bustopher Jones...

I have a reddish-brown cat in mind
His name is Timmy
All day he sleeps upon the stair or on the step or on the mat
He sleeps and sleeps and sleeps and sleeps
And that's what makes my Cat
That's what makes my Cat!
But...
When the day's hustle and bustle is done
And when all the family's in bed and asleep
Then my reddish-brown Cat...
sleeps and sleeps and sleeps and sleeps...
Absolutely despairing!!!!

Ok update here is a VERY amusing picture I staged using my cat:

Let the battle commence!!!
Seriously though the fun we had with that remote controlled Dalek and my cat! The camera caught her eyes there hence the bright gold evil glow....although I like to think it's actually her battle face!

That's what Ghost Kitty is. I posted a pic earlier, but here's another one. I read a description of british shorthairs (british blues) once and it said that basically, everywhere you look on a british shorthair, it's round. Round head, round eyes, round ears, round paws, round muzzle, round body, etc. That and they have no neck.

My Bustopher is just like that, except he's solid black.

Cats
Hobie is physically a Bustopher Jones (he weighs 30 pounds), but attitude-wise... well, he's not always the nicest cat around.
Rudy's a Maine Coon, and she's absolutely a Rum Tum Tugger. Incredibly indecisive, but the sweetest cat.

Kitzenkat looks like Quaxo but grey. He is probably more like Cassandra!
Caspian is white, grey and fluffy! He's like Old Deuteronomy except white, and he is so affectionate, like Jemima!
