When you had a bad audition...What do you do?
I recently had a bad audition (It was mostly due to nerves and bad acting when I was in front of the director lol) and I was absolutely, completely, and totally unhappy. After a few physical convulsions after I got out of the room I constantly beat myself up. Then 2 days after I usually recover lol
But what do you guys do?
Anything in particular or do you schluff it off and hope for the best or what?

if it's really, really bad and it was a really, really big audition, i just cry it out. then once i get it all out of my system and i'm ready for the cast list.
it only really happened to me once (thank goodness!). The director asked me to sing a different song than the one I had chosen, and then cut me off after two lines of it. I was a mess. It turned out, though, that she had done that because she didn't feel the need to see more because she thought i fit the part so well. I ended up being cast in the second role, and many people have told me it was the best role i've ever done.
So don't lose all hope if your audition goes wrong-- you may just be looking at it wrong. And remember, whatever show it is, there will be tons of other shows for you to do, with tons of other fabulous castmates and directors.

I laugh. Let's face it, we all have bad auditions and the only way that I can make it through them is by laughing about it. I mentally sit down, have a good laugh, go over what could have been better, and move to the next audition. At this point in my career, I really cannot dwell on a bad audition too long... Okay, and Dairy Queen is a doctor that knows every cure.
