When can you be a Renthead?

I was originally a fan of the movie but that was before I saw the show and now I hate the movie and on Tuesday will be one year anniversary of the show and my 10th show. I don't feel I can call myself a Renthead yet. When can I call myself a Renthead?

you can call yourself a renthead whenever you want Razz . i don't think there are RULES.....just some people who like to be bitchy about it. but we can just ignore them right? Very Happy

Well right now I am just a die hard fan and my friends and I said once we hit 20 we can call ourselves Rentheads officialy. But i didn't know what other people thought

Techincally, the only people that are RENTheads are the people that stayed overnight in line to get tickets when it first opened. They called themselves RENTheads. That's what I gathered from the DVD, anyways.

But, no one speaks technically.

You're a fan of the show. Good enough. There's no union or certificate or anything. Rolling Eyes

Well, I know people who get really mad when you call yourself a Renthead and haven't camped out for tickets eleven years ago.
I'm thirteen now. I would have been two then. So I don't call myself a Renthead. I'm a rent fan. That's good enough for me.

I'm a RENThead. I've got the OBC, got the film. What more do I need?

I'm not obsessed with Rent, but I do like the movie and the songs, but tickets for the musical are more expensive than Evanescence tickets, so I don't think I'll be seeing it soon.

I'm not sure what your venue would be (tour, Broadway, London), so that's why I'm giving you a more generic link.
