Sorry about my spelling....I am used to typing short hand. Please don't be offended by it.

While I doubt that most people are going to take it so much to heart as to be offended by your "short hand", text talk and such forms of abbreviations are generally discouraged at this forum. It is not a chat room, so when making a post you have the time, and it is considerred a common courtesy, to type out your words in full (names in full are often appreciated too, but posters are often enough more lax with that) and use proper spelling & grammar to the best of your abilities. Typos and rushed posts will happen, but it's just easier for everyone if that is the exception and not the rule. If for no other reason, we do have quite a few international posters who do not have English as their primary language; in such a case, the use of text talk or other abbreviations can be rather discourteous as they may not be able to decipher the words that, even when spelled in full, are not native to them.

Most people will not pick on you for the way you type alone, but you may find that it will be pointed out repeatedly (some times less politely) until you at least seem to be trying to adhere to the board policy of not over-using abbreviations and improper spellings. We're not trying to be mean, please don't take it personally. As I'm sure you've seen by now in one of your other threads, this can be a pretty welcoming place.

For the record, because (as I said) typos DO happen and some've the names in CATS can be tricky to learn at first (and long time fans still debate the spelling of some names) :

Sorry!! I normally make loads of mistakes when I am typing but in here, I will try to keep my mistakes down to a minimum. Oo guess what (slightly changing the subject) I got the book of the musical. Have you got it? It is so interesting!!

I <3 Bombalurina. She was always my favorite character to begin with. I really love all of them, and some have gotten a bigger view of admiration but I really love Bomba. I also love Demeter and Sillabub, Munkustrap and Mungojerrie...mmhmm. Oh and Quaxo rules all.

And I am offended that Alonzo is not on the list. *Sniff* Alonzo is my favorite of all characters. And then Jemima. But Mungojerrie is extremely adorable and lovable, so I pick him. Like some of the kittens, Misto's magic creeps me out a little as does the fact that his coat sparkles. He's very cute but if my cats had sparkley fur for an unexplainable reason and if there was a possibility that they could set my house on fire at any time, I'd be a little afraid. I'm kidding of course, I've just always liked Jerry better, I have nothing against Misto. Munk and Skimble are lovely characters too, but Munk's too serious and Skimble too old. I like them all, but Jerry is my favorite. After Alonzo that is.
