Figure out if you know somebody who knows somebody who.....well, you get the picture. Or perhaps you could contact the production company and just ask? It couldn't hurt & you'll never know until you try. My sister and I got backstage in Minneapolis before the 7/18 show because my husband has a colleague who is closely related to somebody in the show, and she asked this person if he would mind showing us around. This person very graciously gave us an amazing tour - we got to go onstage, check out all of the costumes/hats/props, watch the lighting run-through, visit the dressing rooms, etc. Good luck - I hope you can find a way to do this! |

or you could just make a website of one of the cast members and hope to God it gets big enough for one of the cast members to see and contact you. http://witchesofoz.com/backstagetour.shtml | ||

Backstage TourUnless the Company is really snooty about things, you can try contacting the Company Manager or one of the crew Chiefs (i.e., the Chief Electrician). For CATS in Edinburgh 2003, I was told to contact the LX, and politely ask. We made the arrangements via E-Mail, and then he conducted the tour between the matinee and the evening performances. Some friends and I got to see the lighting/audio boards, the stage, the props, costumes, orchestra area, and even the costume morgue. And added bonus - we got to see the above-stage area used for the stairway and one performer's rope entrance. For San Diego, I asked the Company Manager personally, and she agreed to conduct a similar backstage tour for me just before the evening performance. Sometimes, all you have to do is ask someone politely and business-like. Rumblepurr R-W Forum Moderator. |

They might do a backstage tour for Wicked next year in Kids Week or try the website of Red Letter Days. I know they do Phantom and Les Mis ones there but they cost A LOT! |
