Always look professonal...never come in a costume...you're the one going for the prince right? I too, will be auditioning for that part latter this year...anyway I would wear a polo shirt with khakis or black pants...no blue jeans and t-shirts...does that help?

I have an audition tomorrow and I'm planning on wearing black dress pants with a long sleeve button up (primary colored) shirt (untucked) and a matching tie. I think it's good to be a little less than formal and comfortable.

Try to look as proffesional, yet not too dressy. And do NOT try to make yourself stand out by wearing a costume or something. One guy showed up at auditions for Beauty and the Beast dressed in a bright yellow shirt, white vest, and white pants. Betcha can't guess what part he was going for he didn't get cast btw...

If you are dancing at the audition wear a leotard and convertible tights (roll them up so you can't see them). Overtop, wear a pair of stretchy black gauchos and a nice top with black flats. Classy and comfortable. That way, when it's time for the dance audition you can simply slip out of your pants and shirt, roll down your tights, and put them back on when its over. Don't forget to bring dance shoes to change into!

Our acting/singing and dancing auditions are always on different days. I am a girl so I will tell you what my bf wears.
Acting/singing -- He usually wears his "nice" jeans (no rips), an untucked dress shirt and a loosely tied tie. Thats his style too though.
Dance -- dance shorts, a comfy shirt (usually wife beater) and his jazz shoes.

Oh, oops!! Sorry about telling you to wear gauchos and flats, haha!! I didn't even take the time to notice who posted this topic. Well anyway, if you're a girl and you need advice on what to wear to an audition you can take my advice. haha sorry about that!

BroadwayBaby- hehe I was about to go- what kind of guy do you think he is?!
For a dance audition just wear a fitted shirt and sweat-pants. Most people won't really care what you are wearing as compared to how you dance.
