Hi. I am a 25 year old mezzo. I have an audition for Titanic in two weeks. The audition notices says to sing in the style of the show. I have done some research, but can't seem to find any shows that are comprable to Titanic or any composers that are similar to Maury Yeston.

Does anyone have any ideas? Please HELP me!!!


ALSO, can anyone tell me what the whole virtual casting thing is about?

If you're really worried about what to sing , do something form the show. If you're auditioning for the chorus, do something like ' Autumn'. You can easily get the soudtrack from Amazon.com and Google the lyrics. Similarly if you're auditioning for a main part like a Kate, go for ' I want to be a Lady's Maid'.

p.s if you dont get the part dont do what I do and cry in the corner for two weeks. ok i'm exagerating. good luck- no ! break a leg!
