What to say about a bad show

I saw a website once that listed some funny things that people say when they see a friend in a really bad show. Like "Your costume fit really well" or "The show really made me think." Does anyone know where there's a site like this or have some other good ones?

Thanks.

"That really sucked."

my director/mentor taught me: "you sure looked like you had fun up there."

or, you can always do a question:

"how much FUN did you have?!"

"how cute are you????"

or, the one my gay swears by:

"WORK IT OUT, GIRL!"

Laughing that made me think of something my mom said to me after one of the less stellar productions I've been in: "I bet you need a drink after that performance!"

My mom: Oh honey, you were perfect!

Me: Mom, I fell onstage.

My mom: Oh, you mean that part where you slipped and fell on your bum and then your tutu hit you in the face. Oh and then you flipped over and ran and slid on your knee 10 feet to get to your place?

Me: Um, yes that was it.

My mom: Oh honey, nobody saw that! You were flawless!

(True conversation after I broke my foot onstage in a production of The Nutcracker . . . thought I'd throw this in)

My old director still tells her dancers this story about my mom. She's sort of famous for it. She's also famous for stapling my pointe shoe ribbons on instead of sewing them. And she's famous for the time she bleached my new black leotard. SHe used so much bleach, that it came out of the dryer with holes in it.

How about this: After a performance of J+H, a girl who had been in previous production of J+H with our Lucy came up to her and said, "You were a better Emma than Lucy" (Our Lucy played Emma the last time, and this girl had been Lucy). Meow . . .

why is that bad? Emma is the better role anyway and alot of people can play both types.

It was mean because of the way it was said. The girl that had said this had played Lucy to my friend's Emma. It was her way of saying I am better than you. I saw a video of the other production, and it was very, very not good in many ways.

I work tech at my school and we have a 5 mile radius rule. You can't say ANYTHING negative within 5 miles of the school. Of course, we all do anyway, but not to the actors faces!
