Basic story:
Tommy is a deaf dumb and blind boy - because he watched his father kill his mother's lover in the reflection of a mirror. Its basically the story of him growing up, from being bullied and abused as a kid to him being "pinball wizard" when he's grown up and becoming famous...
It's a "rock opera", You can find out more by searching the net, somewhere you'll find a proper synopsis. It's a great show I'm in it right now performing in 2 weeks !!! If you have any more questions let me know!

The theatre version is loosely based on Pete Townshend's childhood. Both Townshend and Des McAnnuff have spoken about this.
