I have been asked to dance in the ensemble for a local production of the show this summer, but no details were given re. the standard of dance required. I have only basic ballet and tap technique and I'm at a decent level of jazz, so I'm no good at anything that requires you to have been dancing since you were three years old. How difficult is the dancing for this?

I think you could pull it off. It requires some legs up in the air kind of stuff, but not too heavy dancing. Jazz dance will suffice I'd say.
