I don't think there is anything wrong with watching them. But it is the fact that is is illegal (I think) to record performances. And that they shouldn't be out there anyway. But if it is out there I think you may as well watch it if it is available.

oh i see absolutely nothing wrong with it. I live in CA and i've only been to NYC once in my life and aren't going to get to go again anytime soon. I watch bootlegs all the time because it's the only chance i get to see the shows i love.

There is another thread about this though that i made about a month ago, you should look for it. a lot of people had their reasons against it in there

As far as legality is concerned, it's not the watching necessarily that's an issue, it's the downloading and distributing.

I watch bits and pieces of any musical I can find on Youtube. I never get to go to New York to actually see the shows, if I could, I most certainly would. This is my alternative.
