We Will Rock You

I have an audition on saturday for we will rock you. i've been told to go unprepared and no-one has a clue what the audition pieces will be. We get taught a song and dance and go through a scene in groups but we're getting assesed all day. Has anyone got any tips on how to shine in that kind of situation? Mr. Green

learn the whole score. Shouldn't be hard, everything is a popular Queen song. Most of it you probably already know.

Wear keds or jazz flats to dance. The choreography is more like an aerobics class than dancing.

thanks Very Happy i already know the full score, well mostly. i'm just worried because i was hoping to audition for a small part but you dont get to specify what you want to go in for, you just sing al day. and if they hear me singing for a character that is way out of my range do you think i'd still have a shot at one thats within it?

there's basically leads and ensemble, no really tiny supporting roles. Unless you count Teacher (about 3 spoken lines, usually u/s to KQ) and the 3 girls who taunt the ingenue. But EVERYONE sings in a rock belt, so "out of your range" shouldn't happen if you're auditioning from the score.
