A topic I was discussing with my singing teacher yesterday. People often ask me if I'm jewish, because my last name also ends with 'Stein', but my extended family are mainly Jewish.
However there is someone I know whose 2nd name is Stein and claims to have no Jewish history at all.

Anyhoo, does anyone know if he was or not?

According to Wikipedia, Hammerstein came from a non-practicing Jewish family.

I said Great and Broadway. Webber isnt great and he is based in the west end first.
