id love to join but i cant as this huge screensaver pop up blocks the view of the page, i cant close the ad! aaaargh! (and i have a pop up blocker on my puter)

Yeah, me too, can't access the site at all, the popups completely block it. I've had the same problem with some other #Fortunecity sites, I think that unless you pay for your site with them, or click on the popups (which I'm never gonna do!) then you can't access the site. It sucks, it's like ransom. You can't see it until you pay...

Well, I've decided to move my website to Freewebs where there's no ads. It'll probably take a few months or so, I'll leave the Fortunecity one up until the whole thing is moved. And I'll move the fanlisting first, so if you want to join now you can PM me your name, country, email address and website if you have it and I'll put you on the members list!! ^^

I find that if you keep clicking retry, eventually an ad will appear that says Close this Window in the bottom right corner. It took me three tries to get this to come up both times I tried it.

Also, Etcetera Kitten, is that you in that picture in your signature? Where did you get that shirt?
