What do you think? Do you think we can pull this off, or is my idea "way out there"? I'm more than willing to direct, and if you think this is a good idea, go ahead and audition.
what_the_heck013

That's a LOT of songs. I think you should stick to doing one or two from each show.
Rachel W.

That's the problem. Each show that I chose has so many good songs that I can't pick just two or three, you know?

Well, maybe you could pick just the most famous one. But people are getting rather sick of these virtual shows anyways (FYI).
LoneWanderer

I was under the impression these virtual shows werent really allowed anymore, though I could be wrong.
cabaretfreak

Plus how do you do a virtual show?

I think they're allowed, but frowned upon. After all, there's nothing in the rules (that I can remember).

Some people just cast it based upon a sort of RPG-style audition. Others record it and create a cast recording.
Gwen

I see nothing wrong with it!
And I don't think anything's wrong about friends doing a recording together of songs from musicals that they enjoy. It's a good way to hear each others voices and do something fun together!!
And if I had the right equipment, I would LOVE to do this.
Unfortunately, I don't. Crying or Very sad
But I'd love to do this some day.
Good day to you!
Gwen
Ep-Griz-Reno

Yeah that is a lot of songs...but it's a neat idea...I saw the one day more thing on les mis...but besides that I haven't seen a virtual whatever hahaha it sounds like fun though!
Ep-Griz-Reno

ps- if you decide to do les mis and want on my own, i'm putting me on youtube singing it...=)....and same with memory from catssssssss hahaha sooooooo i call dibs......jk.....but I call.......umm offering? lol
Tiny-Tot

If I can find someone with the equipment I would be glad to participate and add "Maybe" and "Tommorrow" from Annie.
what_the_heck013

I would suggest doing this over PMs or e-mail as it is highly frowned upon here.

...Well, we're in our own topic.

...can't everyone just ignore us... =/

It may be easier that way...but it's just cool, because if it's on here, the people who DO like them can listen and give feedback...
what_the_heck013

Don't say I didn't warn you. Cool

Well, even if it is "highly frowned upon" here, what should it matter?
I mean, there's nothing wrong with asking, and I don't think it should be an issue. If someone has a high and mighty hissy fit of "you can't do that because it's stupid," then that's their problem.
(I'm not implying you here, what_the_heck013.) Cool

Neutral I just find it a bit ridiculous how much people complain about it.
Ep-Griz-Reno

oh well...live and let live!

=D

...makes me mad too though
Gwen

Yeah, oh well. Smile
Live and let live. Smile
Ep-Griz-Reno

Have they casted cats yet??? You've got a lot of votes! Holy moly! Hahah I didn't get any...but I'm not on the forum that much so it's okay...lol
Gwen

Oh...heh, um, yeah. (nervous grin)
Well, voting ends on the 14th, then the voting is sealed off.
Then the casting begins, and eventually people find out if they got a part!
Looks like my best bet is Admetus, though I wouldn't say no to Coricopat!
(Ha, now watch as someone else comes up with like, a million votes more for them than me!) Laughing
I'm not expecting to get anything, it's my first casting. Smile

Hey! Thats awesome! I might take some time out to vote, and I'd be happy to give you another Coricopat, since that's the one you really want! =D Good luck!!!
Gwen

Aaah!
How nice of you!
-But you will have to vote for other people, 30 at least.
Otherwise your vote doesn't count.
If ya change your mind, (based on this,) I understand.
