I did Fiddler on the Roof, Jr. almost a year ago.
I just got around to putting all of the songs on YouTube.

what_the_heck013: Our Tevye wasn't nearly as good in this show as he was in Oklahoma! last week. I agree, the part was not suited for him.

I watched some of those today, as well.

As being a theatre student, and being involved in theatre since I was your age. I try to objectively look at your middle school production, as being what it is--a middle school production (no offense) And I am somewhat impressed by what I have seen of Fiddler Jr. Sure it's cut for young people and in my opinion, it drives me crazy a little. But for young preformers, it looks well done. Tevye is flat throughout all the songs. But, he's in middle school--he'll probably get better.

Good work...keep performing...maybe you'll get to do the full script one day. It rocks, Fiddler argubly, is the best musical of all time.

I agree with superdave and what a lot of others said about Tevye, but a lot of those people will surely be very good later!

The only thing that really annoyed me was how stacatto Hodel was, especially during Far From the Home I Love. I may just be nitpicky, as I am working on this in voice lessons, and my teacher keeps yelling at me to make it more legato.

But other than that, It was great!

That was really interesting to watch! I was also in the Jr. version of this play. I have to say your's was really really well done! I played shprintze in mine. I would really want to do the full version in the near future!

Probably one of the best renditions of the Junior Version that I've seen.

I posted the link to a friend's youtube that has videos from when I was Hodel in Fiddler way back in the day (aka 1999) in the Fiddler Photos thread. We did the full production though. Be warned if you check them out, anything from Act 2 appeared to load a bit off so the sound and video don't always match. Act 1 scenes are spot on though.
