I love the tame costumes they give the Broadway cast when they're on TV. They never "censor" the UK cast like that

Sometimes when they do TV spots here, the cast members wear their own clothes. I think that prevents the producers from having to pay them! It looks like that's the case here, not a question of censoring.

They still get paid for doing the TV spot... but they do wear their own clothes. It's called their "appearance black".

Wow, he sucks. Not really fair to judge him if he only had 45 minutes of sleep, but he sure sucks pretty badly. I always thought he was a tenor from listening to him with 'The News', but he can't even muster the high notes in this song. He just sounds so amateur.
