I'm an almost-complete-vegetarian (I still eat poultry once in a while) and I like Sweeney Todd lots. But there's no way you could get me to eat a meat pie! Although when I was in London, I did eat at a great noodle place on Fleet Street!

i dont get how being a vegetarian would change anything...it's just a show
anyways, i don't eat red meat and LOVE the show but i still see those things as unrelated

vegetarian and love it. cause sweeney at a dinner theatre, everyone would claim they're vegetarian anyway.

Not to mention that they're not only eating meat, they're eating PEOPLE. I assume vegetarians and omnivores alike would find such a concept unappealing.

Well, I've got a good friend who is a vegetarian. She was the revival before it closed.
Next time I called her, her voice-mail message is "Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pies...how may I help you?"
I guess she doesn't have any objects based on her diet.
