URGENT - Major HolmesI was just offered the role of Major Holmes. Can anyone tell me anything about the character befoe I accept/decline the role? I know he has lines and is featured in chorus numbers. This is urgent, so please, anything you can add will be greatly appreciated!

Major Holmes is a Dreamer(one of the dead chorus members) but he is a featured role. You get some singing with the chorus and a few solos, lines and a name unlike the majority of the dreamers. It's not a huge role however.
He is the friend of Rose and Albert(Mary's now dead parents) and he was the person to find Mary after the party and sends her to her Uncle in England. Sadly, he apparently dies because he appears later with the Dreamers, and sings in the Storm Scenes acting like the rest of them, generally unresponsive to the living.
