^LMAO! That's great TVAW!!!!!!!

They ALWAYS launch the fighter jets when stuff like this happens...Even when it doesn't!

I just heard about that literally 2 minutes ago after my father asked me where I had lived when I was in the city. (I've recently moved for the next 2 years at least to attend grad school) Luckily it was only an accident.

All I got to say is, thank god that this wasn't a terrorist act.

R.I.P. those who were killed, and hopefully nobody got too hurt.

Yeah, it's sad for the people that died. I just don't feel like hearing about this story for the next 20 days. All these news sources thrive off of tragedy. Again, it's sad.

This really explains the reason why I've become so cynical (see September 11th rant). Just look at those posts!

So a small plane crashed into a building. Big fat hairy deal! I suppose this would be cause to invade another country and declare war, right?

Reading the posts made it clear to me that people automatically jump to conclusions. They're not interested in geting the FACTS to the story. They'd rather panic over some insignificant pictures on TV that realy prove nothing.

I re-read some posts and I quote some of the ones I liked... and agree with.

"Quick! Let's all jump to conclusions!"

"Everybody panic in 3... 2... 1..."

All ranting aside, it is tragic that this has happened. My thought and prayers are with the families.

In addition, there were about 20 people hurt. Not seriously, though. I heard that on the news this morning.

Andy.

The thing is that, even though everyone KNOWS it wasn't linked to 9/11, they are STILL MENTIONING IT!

One idiot wrote into the news this morning and told them that it could have had significance because if you write down 10/11/06 and turn it upside down, it says 9/11/01...

That was just sick...

I wish they would drop those references, especially since they KNOW it was just an accident!!!

Exactly. Its just one coincidental incident that happened to be a very sad accident. Leave it be!! I'm almost quite glad I'm not in the city right now so I don't have to have all this nonsense thrown in my face for the next 3 months.
