I can't find music or lyrics for this song anywhere and it's amazingly beautiful. It's called The Portrait and these are a poor rememberance of the lyrics:

there's a picture hanging dusty in a silver frame on my wall
and two people with their eyes ____ holding daisies i recall
and the baby in the sailor dress and the pigtails that was me
and the other was my mother ________

These bits are mixed up a bit though:

she spent her evenings making poetry
i spend my nights making time

people tell me that im just like her
and i wonder what they see
she was lady, lace and cameo

mama dont leave
mama come home
i cant find the answers
to what i dont know
im lost and my hearts lying dead on the floor

That's the most I can remember. I'd love to find a site that has sheet music, but just the lyrics would be fine too. Anyone have a clue? My teacher said it was from a really bad musical, but she loves the song.
