The set and costumes are CHEAP (but that's UK Productions for you), but the cast are good. Just don't expect the glamourous West End/Broadway version as far as visuals are concerned.

I saw the show twice this week in Edinburgh, and I loved it. The first time I saw it, on Wednesday, Wain Douglas was on as the Beast. I really enjoyed his performance (actually, I liked him more than Nic Greenshields, who I saw yesterday, even if it did look a little weird with Lumiere being slightly taller than the Beast). Has anyone else seen him?
Having seen the comments on here, I was expecting the sets and costumes to look worse than they did. Mind you, I've never seen the official production to compare (apart from the preview video on broadwayworld.com).

Yeah, the sets and costumes are generally quite bad, and I really didnt like LeFou or the Miss Piggy style Madame de la Grande Bouche, over all the last tour was better, better sets, (Gaston's cup dance is MUCH better in the last tour) but this tour had some really good improvements and things, especially the transformation scene which is now brilliant!
Look for another thread by me, with photos comparing the new tour and previous tour!
