Hi,
Does anyone know when the cast change for the current UK Tour is? I think I remember it changing in Feb last time. Also, does anyone know who will be staying or who any of the people taking over are if it is Feb?

As far as I know all UK cast have renewed their contracts as this year is the last tour for a while (it will be back in 2009 rumour has it) they plan to end in Canterbury - hope this helps!

I believe the cast change is very soon, I may be wrong but I think Southampton (Or somewhere on the south coast in mid Feb) is the changeover? *thinks hard*
I don't think there are any 'newbies' as many members of old casts are coming back, a few of the current cast are staying, some are moving roles and some are staying as their current cat. Some oldies are returning as different Jellicles than they normally play so a good shake up in the ranks.......

I do know it will be a fab cast though!!!!!

Abbey, can you give us a rundown on who will be doing who? And most importantly, are we keeping mungojerrie as is??

Erm,

I can't give you a complete run down as names were said to me down a mobile phone but after a little drinking (oops!) and I'd been on stage all night so I wasn't really with it,several people were shouting names to me all at the same time.... suffice to say, Mungojerrie is not as is.....but he is staying as a certain Ginger cat with a bell around his neck.
Let's see if I can remember: I think Natalie Edmunds is coming back (Bomb?), Matt Krzan (sp? as Cori?) , Barbara King (I think she is coming back as Gumbie?) there's a new Jelly but I can't remember for the life of me who (ex Jemima/ Jemima Cover I think....but I know I was happy when her name was mentioned!) erm..... Oh bum, I do wish I was sober/ awake/ not on a mobile phone when I had this conversation.
Will try and remember a few more.

Do you know if Chrissie Hammond is staying? I really liked her when I saw her on the last tour and I go to see this in Norwich after the cast change!

If what Abbeycat says is right (which it propbably is!) then I'm very sorry, I must have got mixed up - this is the impression the cast gave me, but I could well be wrong! I'm well known for getting the wrong end of the stick!
We shall soon see I suspose - I really hope Alex and Phil stay! They're both so sweet!

Yes the cast is correct at the moment, they will be changing in the next couple of weeks though, Last cast change it didn't appear on the site for a good three months!

Full cast is now on Mayflower site. They haven't added Bombalurina but I am 99.99999% sure It's Natalie Edmunds!

Cheers! I am glad Chrissie Hammond has stayed. It is a shame there is a new Jellylorum as I liked Zoe Curlett.
