Tweeking Out Here!Okay, so I've been waiting for this time of year to come for a very long time because of my local theaters BATB auditions. So I finally get to audition and they tell us that roles will be decided by the next day.....its been a week already and still no response....Im getting worried that Im not in the show at all and they're just not going to call me or send me a letter or anything, which really wouldn't make sense because A) thats incredibly rude of them to just tell you, B) I think I had a pretty good audition, and C) I dont know what this director is like becaus ei've never worked with him before....It's starting to make me a little nuts and obsessive. What do you guys think? |

 How on earth did you get that idea?
I'd try to call the theatre and ask politely if there is any news on the BATB cast list because you were informed you'd be told the results at a certain date and you wanted to clarify this. |

I had the same thought about the title of the thread.
It doesn't hurt to politely ask when notifications will be made regarding casting. We frequently keep people waiting when they are our 2nd choice. We offer the part to someone and hold off on a yes or no answer to the 2nd choice person until we hear back from the first choice person. But that's purely anecdotal. You can't really guess what's going on in your specific case. |

IDk where you guys got the notion that I was selling drugs! AS IF!! Where I live its another way of saying "freaking out".FYI.
Anyway, I think Im just stressing out a little too much probably...I was gonna give it a couple more days and if I still hear nothing Im gonna call them or something. I do still think its a little ridiculous that they keep people hanging like that though. |
