Warched the film again last night and I noticed that Tugger is nowhere in the Heavyside Layer scene.

When Griz enters he goes over to her and then leaves. Maybe he still has a chip on his sholder towards her?

It'll be interesting to swee how this happens onstage.

He's there. He's standing off towards the side on top of something or another. Can't really remember exactly where at the moment because I haven't seen the DVD in a while. You might need wide-screen to see him. *shrugs* I believe this is a final testiment to Tugger's stubborn "I'm always right on everything" personality. Because he's seen standing to the side, it can be inferred that he never truly accepts Grizabella because he disliked her in the first place. I read this somewhere... but I don't remember where... Obviously though, this is only speculation on whoever came up with the theory's part, but it makes sense to me.
