[tos] and 39 Steps?

A few quick questions: How family-friendly is [title of show]? Also, is The 39 Steps any good? We're going into the city next week and my sister and mom already have tickets for Legally Blonde, so my dad, brother, and I were thinking about going to The 39 Steps and we were thinking about going to [tos] with all five of us... Thanks!
Salome

I havent een 39 Steps yet but it looks hysterical. plus I am fan of the original film they parody.

39 Steps is hysterical, I would definitely recommend it. Last time I was in the city I saw 5 shows and it was my second favorite (next to Gypsy).

I also think its a show that fellas would find entertaining, so I'd say it'd be a good choice to go with your father and brother.

Awesome. Another question about 39 Steps, do you need to see the original film in order to appreciate it or is it just as much fun if you go into it without knowing what's going to happen?

I saw 39 Steps in London. It is great, family friendly with slightly implied "misbehavior". I had seen the movie and loved it, but the rest of my family understood with either never seeing the movie were having it have been more than 20 years. Its great. You should see it.

The 39 Steps is fine, but [tos] isn't really family friendly at all...

I haven't seen 39 Steps, but I went to college with Jennifer Ferrin. She's always been pretty talented.

I had never seen the film, but I was familiar with Hitchcock's work (which is poked fun at throughout the play, not just the one film). But I don't think that not knowing the source material would make it un-entertaining. But knowing what is being parodied always makes it funnier.

[title of show] = DEFINITELY NOT family friendly.

The 39 Steps is terrific with great physical theatre and comedy. I would denfiately recommend it to anyone!!
