Oh, good. I didn't want to be the only one totally let down. I just thought the hype was too big compared to the actual performance.

He's currently filming a Marvin ("Let's Get it On") Gaye biopic, as of April 15, when shooting started. He couldn't get out of it.

I have to admit I was not impressed by the current cast on the Tonys. I pulled out my old vhs of the 96 Tonys and compared both Tony versions of La Vie Boheme. The current cast seemed like they were doing a "Broadway Musical", but the original cast seemed so much more alive and involved, not just performing.

That's what I thought when I saw the show, but then I figured that it was just because one was filmed and one was live. (movie vs. show comparision)

I thought it was good. And i saw the people who where doing La Vie Boheme. Since i saw rent at the end of april the cast is still there. My parents started to explain about taye diggs and idina and i just gave them a look like "you think i don't know" And the current cast of rent was AMAZING! i did not see the person whoplayed rodger or Mimi since they where out but there understudys where good.
