Mother's Day (as well as Father's Day) is not the same day in all European Countries.
In France it's only on 28. May, and Father's Day is on 18. June (this year). Belgium is around one week before I think, while in Luxembourg it's in June for Mothers and in September for Fathers... I don't remember for Germany.

Well, definitely not just England anyway. It's always been celebrated in Ireland, and now I see Scotland too.

Mother's Day is the second sunday in May where Father's day is the ssecond sunday in June.
at least that's the way it is here in Canada.

Case closed mothers day is different all over the world as Englands was celebrated on the Sunday just gone hehe
