It really depends on what day you are planning to go on and how many tickets you are looking to get. I did a general search on ticketmaster and the closest weekend date I got that still had at least two available seats was April 7th in the back of the orchestra. If I were you, I'd settle a date now and get the tickets ASAP if you want to have any choice about where you'll be sitting.

I agree with DramaRobin. I bought tickets in November for a Thursday night in early May and we got orchestra row L, kind of on the right. Again, it depends on how many people you have. We have four, if that gives you an indication. Have tons of fun when you go!

I got my tickets in April and I saw it in September. There were almost six whole months there, and I was still sitting about 15 rows back, off to the right of the stage (or stage left, depending on how you look at it). These shows sell out fast. Like, that was a Wednesday so I can't imagine what Fridays and Saturdays are like.

ow.. thanks folks!
That kindda makes it hard for me, cause i'm not sure when or how many people are going too, you know... Andddd, it makes it even harder for me the fact that for me going to new york means: going to the United States itself! It's a very lonng flight.. I can't go once to get tickets and than go back months later again to watch it.. that would be too expensive and humanly insane.... Maybe i'll have to wait for Wicked to come down here... maybe in 2034.. |

Well, you'd prolly be able to get tickets, but... they'd be quite far back.

This might be a stupid question but couldn't you get the tickets online somehow? So you wouldn't have to come buy them in the US? |

You can order tickets online, I bought mine from England when I was planning a trip to New York. Try www.ticketmaster.com - I was able to pick up my tickets from the box office the day of the show. |

There's always the big TKTS stand in the middle of Times Square - I doubt many people buy their tickets before going to NY. But from the similar things we have in London, and common sense, you know popular shows will sell out quicker, that you'll probably have to que for a while etc.
I go directly to the theatres here in London - you could try that? I'm sure you'll get to see it though - the tickets sold online will sell out as they only release a certain amount online, there will usually be some tickets left on the day. |

In theory, yes. But the shows only make it to TKTS if they are not sold out. I've never heard of Wicked being on there. It might also be very hard to get them through the theater (it's been a while since I have tried though). I would definitely recommend getting them online first, especially if you are planning a whole trip from another country around it. |
