Thoroughly Modern Millie

Alright, so, I am currently in my high school's production of Thoroughly Modern Millie, and I am playing Miss Dorothy(basically, 2nd female lead). Next spring, a paying theatre about an hour away from my house is doing the show, and I figure with my experience of already doing the show once, they may be more likely to cast me... is this a smart assumption? And more importantly, what's a good song to sing for an audtion like that? I'm a saprano... I just want to impress them enough that I can at least get into the chorus.

Congrats on Miss Dorothy! My school is doing Thoroughly Modern Millie and I'm planning on auditioning for her. Anyway, a good audition song for Dorothy might be "If I Were a Bell" or "I'll Know" from Guys and Dolls.
Hope that helps. Also, if its allowed, you could sing Dorothy's part from "How the Other Half Lives". I hope this helped.
