"Consider yourselves fortunate if you're in a position to catch C.A.T.S. MAINSTAGE COMPANY'S new production of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE opening June 3rd at Theatre Passe Muraille for a strictly limited run!

Young aspiring actors from across Toronto will perform in a razzamatazz musical comedy, winner of the 2002 Tony Award for Best Musical and Best Score. Previous Mainstage performances include the classic West Side Story and r 'n' roll sensation Grease.

Based on the 1967 film of the same name, the musical set in 1922 tells the story of small-town girl Millie Dillmount who arrives in NYC in search of a new life. Her goal? To marry for money instead of love - a thoroughly modern goal in 1922. At a time when bobbing your hair and rolling your stockings was considered daring, Millie begins to embrace her new lifestyle. Problems soon arise however, when her heart has a mind of its own."
