My school is doing WSS next year, and I looked at some samples of the score online at sheetmusicplus. anyway, the samples they have of the jets/shark parts are in bass clef and some of the notes are really low.
Is it usual to raise the notes up an octave in productions of the play? my school has great singers, but the tenors cannot hit a really low C, and I don't blame them. basses sure, but we have like 2. its a serious problem.
