A representative from the Best New Musical will join Tim McArthur in the studio to receive the award. “The award will be a great achievement for the winning musical”, says Tim McArthur, the voice of TheatreRadio, “because rather than having a judging panel of theatre critics, the winner will be chosen by our listeners.” Nathan Matthews, 23 year-old producer of TheatreRadio added, “2006 was the perfect year to launch the TheatreRadio Best New Musical Award, as London's West End has witnessed the arrival of around 20 New Musicals in addition to the 13 already in residence.” The TheatreRadio Best New Musical Award is unique in its simplicity.
