In the OBC DVD, in the opening number Peters has this crazy fit for like ten seconds, and then regains composure and continues with the song.


What is she on???

I always though either

A) She was having an attack of some sort(The Witch, not Peters)
B) She was furious and freaking out
C) She wanted to scare the crap out of the Baker

If you mean when she is saying, "I could have turned him into a stone or a dog or a chair or a etc....
I like to think of it as she is kind of entranced by herself from thinking of all the thins she couldd turn him into.
Just a thought.

I just thought I should mention that Bernadette Peter's performance on the cast recording is very different from her performance as seen in the filmed stage show.
