THE STAGE?

I am doing intothe woods for my High School production and I wanted to know how you guys did your stage? If you have pictures, tha would be awesome!

We are making 2 small ramps that led on stage so it looked like they walked downhill. And we are working on putting a huge ramp that goes around from one end of the stage to the other and the pit can play in the middle so we have more room and paths to walk on. It's a bit difficult to describe.

Our show was 5 years ago, but I still remember some of the set. Stage right was a raised platform with a ramp leading downstage. Upstage was lined with "trees" and forest like stuff, including mother's tree. For the opening number there were three moving set pieces for Cinderella's house(R), Jack's house(UC), and the Baker's house(R). Repunzal's tower also came rolling out as well as Granny's house. Granny's scene all took place behind a white sheet with a light shining on it, so you could only see the outline of the actors--very cool. Sorry, no pictures.

Some good and my favorite pics of sets:

My idea for Into The Woods sets would be similar to the second website, except I would have trees that can be flown on and off stage to make characters disappear and reappear and to act as stage curtains that would cover a portion of the stage (where a scene change is going on) whilst a scene is going on elsewhere on the stage.
