The Set

We're doing LSOH this fall for our musical at my high school.

We have a new drama teacher this year too.

So, it's going to be interesting to see how he does plays compared to my old teacher.

When I asked him about how we were doing the set,
and he said that there are two ways you can do it:

realisticly
or more abstract/andy warhol-like.

the second one is how we're doing it, according to him.

has anyone ever heard of doing the set that way before for this musical?

i really want to be audrey.
so cross your fingers for me.
lol.

We did our set sort of like that. A little bit more inspired by Roy Lichtenstein, but definitely the whole pop-art feel.

All of the backgrounds had really bold colors and in some places stripes and other graphics to add to the dynamic.

I really liked the set; people who came to see it said that it definitely added to the unrealistic premise of the musical and really made them feel connected.

Good luck with Audrey!
