The real reason why I don't understand Christine...

Dear "T.P.o.t.O" Fans,

The real reason why I don't understand Christine is as follows:

My ultimate fantasy is to be watched, and then kidnapped, by an older man (Since I'm 29, he'd have to be at LEAST 59). I'd love to be taken to the catacombes of the Phantom's lair, seduced, and worshiped!

To be worthy of such a situation is the ultimate in luxury, youth, and erotic satisfaction! So, go ahead and say that I desire synthesizer music! LOL!

I don't understand why any girl, OR any woman, for that matter, wouldn't want to be watched, kidnapped, and seduced by an older man. "The darkness" of the entire scenario is simply, and sinfully, wonderful!

The Phantom can "wash my stockings" anytime, and, yes, I am being devastatingly "X"! LOL! Wink

Thanks in advance for your replies.

In the real life or in your little dream world?

Well, The Phantom is kinda messed up in the head. And it's creepy, not romantic.
I've always liked Raoul/Christine better <3.

But the Phantom is SO passionate. That's a part of what makes it a popular show, so girls can come time after time and fall under the Phantom's alluring spell. I know I have! Wink

It's very much about our darker sides succumbing to seduction. Christine is usually portrayed as being both thrilled by and afraid of the unknown. She's not a helpless damsel in distress, though. Much of the tragedy of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA is what Christine does to The Phantom emotionally, either directly or indirectly. She's not an innocent in the affair.

For me, I used to be all "Christine/Raoul" because I loved the idea of childhood sweethearts.

Lately, I've turned to "Christine/Phantom", but I'm not sure why.

For me to be swept away by a man that was older? It sounds a little bit...weird.

But recently, although he does threaten a lot, I fell in love with the Phantom. So...I suppose the Phantom wouldn't be too bad.
