The pole dancing phenomenon that's sweeping the nation!

Dear Musicals.Net Posters,

I've heard that pole dancing has become an American phenomenon. I wouldn't want to pole dance, though, unless I was able to look as graceful as Esmeralda, from "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"; she was able to pole dance without looking like a cheap slut.

I think that it might be interesting to have a pole installed in the house, but I also think that the real estate experience will be funny ten years from now, when everyone is trying to find houses WITHOUT poles! LOL!

What do you think of the pole dancing phenomenon that's sweeping the nation?

Thanks in advance for your participation in the poll (LOL!), and for your replies.

Beagle On Stage

I was known in high school for my Mae West-esque, "commentary on sexy" personality. This frequently included sex-centered dancing at school events. Examples included the dance of the seven veils for a men's beauty pageant (first runner-up, bitches!), a striptease for a Children's Miracle Network benefit (I had a shocked administration on my hands after that one), etc. Pole dancing was involved from time to time. I'm pretty good at it, but it's not my favorite.
Psyches

When it all comes down to it, isn't pole dancing what life, and in itself, LOVE, is all about?

I concur with the beauracrats of the pole federation, pole dancing is the way of the future.

Let us not fight it, but embrace it as we strive toward our future, a land of freedom and poliage for all.

Now let us bow our heads in respect for the almighty pole.

*gyrates hips on pole*

I feel the love of the pole

Salome

Mistress

I only saw the one episode...the main guy convinced his wife to take pole-dancing class in hopes of gettign some good action in bed, but it bacjfired because she was really crappy at it.

When my friend and I applied at a gentleman's club, we were told that I was too short and she was too ugly, and I could only cut it if I wore heels that were 5+ inches every night. In all honesty, I felt much worse for my friend. =X
Salome

i'm only 5'2 and they took me. hmmm..you must not be sexy Wink j/k

I figured he'd just tell me that, since he flat out told my friend she wasn't attractive. XD I didn't mind it so much, but really, being called short is nothing compared to being called ugly.
Monsieur D'Arque

Salome, despite the fifteen year age difference and irreconcilable personalities, I am strangely, inexplicably attracted to you.

Well, to you, and to ripping clothes in the heat of passion. I don't know which one is stranger.
Salome

i must have that effect on people Wink
