I'm confused at how to go about this...

I know it sounds sort of normal speak, with a few differences and a whole different tonality but I just wanna know how I can go about doing it, so I don't sound like a complete idiot, and I want to hone up on my skills before the show. (I think they might be hiring a dialect coach, or accent coach or whatever..)

Mine was a school production in Brooklyn, NY...most of us already had that accent to being with.
