The Music Man first opened at the Majestic Theater on Broadway December 19, 1957 - 50 years ago. Has anyone heard of any plans to celebrate this milestone? Barbara Cook (Marian) must be the "ranking survivor" of the original Broadway cast. Did any descendants of other OBC members ever play any roles in the show?

They're doing something where I live soon (but it's certainly not on a national level). It's to celebrate the anniversary of our city's symphony, and I guess it's to celebrate the anniversary of The Music Man as well. I really want to do this show. I think it would be so cool to do a show, and have an entire orchestra accompany you. wow.
