The Monologue Thread

Lately I've seen a lot of young actors struggle to find monologues. Thus I'm starting a thread for suggestions and stuff. You can ask for monologue help. You can share what monologues you did before. However, if you are to use a suggested monologue here, I highly suggest that you read the entire play before performing it (if the monologue isn't attached to a play than disregard this). A monologue is only a snippet of a play and only gives you a small amount of information on a character. You will not be able to perform it to your best potential unless you read the entire play, and use that information to develop your performance.

'The Complete Professional Audition'

Has an INCREDIBLY helpful section on monologues.
It's on Amazon, and I highly recommend this book to everyone.
