A. The food sucks.
B. I got gang raped in the parking lot,
C. They sell drugs and prostitutes as well as food.
D. They specifically do not allow 8 yr olds, 10 yrs olds, or 12 yr olds, but 1 yr olds, 2 yr olds, 3 yr olds, 4 yr olds, 5 yr olds, 6 yr olds, 7 yr olds, 9 yr olds, 11 yr olds, 13 yr olds, 14 yr olds, 15, yr olds 16 yr olds, etc. are allowed.

Sorry. I'm just in a bad mood right now. I've never been there. I'm sure its fine.

I passed it by once, it seems like a really neat place - I'm sure it's fine.

1) The food is excellent. It's mostly vegan dishes but they do have some things if you aren't into vegan food. I definitely recommend the pasta.

2) The location isn't too bad, but we couldn't find a subway that went down that way so you may have to find a bus route, take a taxi or walk. We went for lunch and nothing bad happened.

3)It's nice. Very casual and not very sleazy at all.

4)I don't see what the problem would be in taking an 8, 10 and 12 year old.

A. Its decent. Nothing spectacular or anything. Its mostly vegan and vegetarian dishes but there are other things.

B. Its a perfectly safe location. I believe you can take the L train to a location farely close. Don't quote me as I usually just take the N,Q,R,or W to Union Square, walk up to Ave B and then over to 10th.

C. Its decent. Nothing special but not trashy either. The movie portrays it to look waaaaaaaay different then it actually does.

D. If they aren't picky eaters, sure you could take them there.

There's a website somewhere for it, I don't remember what it is. Just google Life Cafe, NYC or Life Cafe and the cross reference streets and it should bring it up. It has the full menu and pricing on the website as well as other information.
