The harmonization of the title song

Who do you think does the harmonization for this particular song? I personally think that Juan Carlos Barona and Julia Moller has so far done it to perfection.

Mikael Samuelson and Elisabeth Berg (Swedish cast album) are my favourites for this song - he has a certain rocky edge to his voice while still sounding classical, she is a super well trained coloratura. Her cadenza is !!! I adore their version of the song.

I can see why. I just heard it on youtube and HOLY CRAP!

The Swedish cast album is amazing...especially that title song. Love it.

Michael Samuelson sings most of the songs flat. He is out of pitch in half of the songs, and I still don't get why he is cast in musicals. I have never seen him act live, but his voice acting is horrible. As for harmonization, according to my vocal score, the title song is sung in unison, so why discuss harmonies that doesn't exist? Or is there something I don't know?

How is he flat?

Totally off topic...

If you want to see Mikael Samuelson acting and can spare between $20 and $30, here's a link to a DVD of "The Magic Flute" with him in it. Of course, Papageno is a very different role from the Phantom, but still, it's him, and I think he's pretty good.

I don't mean to sound sarcastic or arrogant, but flat as in doesn't hit the notes properly and is a bit under pitch, not too much, but it's hearable.

Well I kinda can't hear it. I think he sings it just fine. Then again I'm just learning to understand how to tell if one is on pitch.
